Liz Parnell

Liz Parnell started her career at Marvel comics in London; after a couple of fantastic years she turned her attention to the magazine sector and moved to Bath to become the Art Editor of several women's lifestyle magazines. After 5 years at Future Publishing, Liz moved to Origin Publishing and was the launch Art Editor on their craft titles.

In 2000 Liz & Marcus returned to Devon to start a family. It was here that she began a successful freelance career working for David & Charles, Reader's Union and Postscript books, as well as designing for the education sector.

In 2008 Liz designed her own brand, Hamble & Jemima and launched a range of designer sewing kits. These kits proved incredibly popular and have been stocked in John Lewis and multiple independent outlets both in the UK and across Europe. Liz has subsequently designed and co-authored the book 'Abbygale Sews'.


Marcus Parnell

Marcus has over 20 years industry experience in a wide variety of graphic media. Having worked as a designer & animator in the early years of web design, he returned to print media in 2001. Since then he has worked on a multitude of projects for a wide range of international clients.

These clients include Dynamo Design, Warner Brothers, Unex, Silver Dolphin, Smithsonian & Ripley Publishing.

He specialises in graphic art, logotype and book design but has extensive experience in a wide variety of graphic media.
